The Grey Between is an exploration of everyday life: focusing on family dynamics, motherhood, imploding relationships, emotional damage, through to death and the wake left behind.

NADINE ELLIS

Nadine Ellis is an Australian poet, writing about everyday life: focusing on family dynamics, motherhood, imploding relationships, emotional damage, through to death and the wake left behind. She writes as a cathartic release – processing life’s experiences – spilling out her internal thoughts – with hope that her words touch others, to let them know they are not alone.

Nadine was born in South Australia to Eastern European parents, who immigrated to Australia before she was born. She is a mother to four adult daughters, and a Radiographer, who has worked as an Academic teaching into Medical Radiations at the University of South Australia for the last twelve years.

Nadine’s poetry has previously been published in America, and throughout Australia, within literary journals, and poetry anthologies.

About

The Grey Between spans a period of my life from teenage impacts, abrasive relationships, heartache, intimacy, motherhood, life in general, through to reminiscing and realisation. My choices, compromises, sacrifices, the rebuilding of dignity, peacefulness, and experiences of love, with a spray of spite and loathing for added flavour.
